Cos'è il Corpo Lucido?

Lucid Body è un approccio olistico e terapeutico alla recitazione. La recitazione olistica è un modo di agire che è un beneficio per la mente e il corpo, al contrario di un drenaggio della forma fisica e mentale. Si basa sull'idea che la conoscenza di sé è l'obiettivo numero uno della tua recitazione. Lucid Body è un processo psico-fisico che può offrire a un attore gli elementi costitutivi di un nuovo linguaggio per sviluppare ulteriormente un personaggio attraverso la diagnosi e la piena incarnazione.

Per chi è Lucid Body?

Lucid Body è per l'attore che cerca un approccio diverso alla propria arte. L'attore che cerca un approccio naturale e salutare per sviluppare i propri personaggi.

Lucid Body esamina la persona di un attore per andare oltre la propria persona in modo che l'attore possa esprimere QUALSIASI corpo in cui si trasforma. Questo metodo li aiuta a trasformarsi in personaggi diversi da loro stessi. Lucid Body sta addestrando un attore ad esprimere le proprie emozioni da tutti i luoghi che possono scoprire dal loro corpo, cuore e anima.

Lucid Body è anche un mestiere meraviglioso per coloro che cercano di connettersi meglio con se stessi a livello fisico e mentale. Può essere una pratica meravigliosa per coloro che cercano di espandere la propria mente e la propria salute, non solo per gli attori, ma per tutti coloro che cercano un approccio olistico all'essere e al vivere. Esaminando ulteriormente il loro essere interiore, questo può essere un modo per "liberare" mentalmente e fisicamente la loro mente.

Perché portare Lucid Body in Italia?

Il Manuale del Corpo Lucido è in corso di pubblicazione da Audino Editori, casa editrice ricca di storia. Il Lucid Body Manual è attualmente disponibile solo in inglese e quindi il metodo in sé non è così conosciuto in Italia e dai giovani attori e studenti italiani. Ecco perché questo progetto è stato realizzato. Con l'aiuto e l'intuizione di Margherita Peluso, insegnante di recitazione di Lucid Body, con sede tra l'Italia e New York, vuole portare Lucid Body a nuova vita in Italia.

Per iniziare a introdurre questo concetto in Italia, il Lucid Body Manual deve essere tradotto in italiano per renderlo disponibile a tutti coloro che desiderano iniziare il loro percorso di recitazione olistica con Margherita.

Incontra la tua Lucid Body Instructor e anima di questo progetto, Margherita Peluso:

Margherita Peluso è un'attrice internazionale originaria di Milano. Attualmente lavora e risiede tra l'Italia e New York City. Ha iniziato con la recitazione fisica alla scuola Jacque Lecoq, continuando a studiare recitazione al Gloria Gifford Conservatory for Performing Arts di Los Angeles, allo studio Michael Howard di New York e ha studiato con attori come Larry Moss, Emma Dante ed Eugenio Barba. Attualmente è una Lucid Body Coach insegnata direttamente da Fay Simpson, la creatrice e fondatrice di Lucid Body. Ha appena terminato la produzione dell'attesissimo film “Alla ricerca di Marta”, un film basato su Marta Abba, la musa ispiratrice di Luigi Pirandello.

What is Lucid Body?

Lucid Body is a holistic and therapeutic approach to acting. Holistic acting is a way of acting that is a benefit to the mind and body, as opposed to a drain on the physical and mental form. It is based on the idea that self-knowledge is the number one focus to your acting. Lucid Body is a psych-physical process that can offer an actor the building blocks of a new language to further develop a character through diagnosis and full embodiment.

Who is Lucid Body For?

Lucid Body is for the actor who is looking for a different approach to their craft. The actor who is looking for a natural and healing approach to developing their characters.

Lucid Body examines an actor’s persona in order to get beyond their own personally so that the actor can express ANY body that they transform into. This method helps them transform into characters who are different than themselves. Lucid Body is training an actor to express their emotions from all places that they may uncover from their body, heart and soul.

Lucid Body is also a wonderful craft for those looking to better connect with themselves on a physical and mental level. It can be a wonderful practice for those looking to expand their mind and health, not just for actors, but for all looking for a holistic approach to being and living. By further examining their inner being, this can be a way to mentally and physically “free” their mind.

Why Bring Lucid Body to Italy?

The Lucid Body Manual is being published by Audino Editori-a publishing house rich with history. The Lucid Body Manual is currently only available in English and therefore, the method itself is not as known to Italy and young, Italian actors and students. That’s why this project was brought to life. With the help and insight of Margherita Peluso, a Lucid Body acting coach, based between Italy and New York, she wants to bring Lucid Body new life in Italy.

Meet your Lucid Body Instructor and the heart behind this project, Margherita Peluso:

Margherita Peluso is an international actress originally from Milan. She currently works and resides between Italy and New York City. She started with Physical Acting at the Jacque Lecoq school, continuing studying acting at the Gloria Gifford Conservatory for Performing Arts in Los Angeles, Michael Howard studio in NYC and she studied with thespians such as Larry Moss, Emma Dante and Eugenio Barba. She currently is a Lucid Body Coach taught directly under Fay Simpson, the creator and founder of Lucid Body. She just finished production for the highly anticipated film “Finding Marta”, a film based on Marta Abba, the muse of Luigi Pirandello.
