Dona per David, pianista in crescendo

L’Unione Musicale di Torino è da sempre al fianco dei giovani musicisti, presenti numerosi e con regolarità nelle sue stagioni concertistiche.
In occasione della nostra prima campagna di raccolta fondi abbiamo deciso di fare di più, scegliendo di sostenere il giovane pianista di formazione torinese David Irimescu, artista di eccezionale talento, la cui carriera, qualche anno fa, ha subito un brusco arresto a causa di una difficile storia personale.
Nato a Torino 24 anni fa da genitori rumeni, David a 9 anni incontra il pianoforte e si innamora di questo strumento che lo aiuta ad esprimere il suo mondo interiore attraverso la musica.
Ancora adolescente perde il papà e inizia per lui un periodo di sconforto e di serie difficoltà economiche. Con grande fatica prosegue gli studi al liceo musicale, che conclude con il massimo dei voti. Nello stesso periodo arriva una grande occasione: vince il talent Amadeus Factory 2018 e, a 19 anni, diventa il volto nuovo della musica classica italiana.
Quando la carriera sembra decollare, improvvisamente è colpito da un nuovo dramma: una grave infiammazione tendinea lo blocca totalmente per ben quattro anni, un tempo lungo per chiunque, ma infinito per un musicista in ascesa. Questa fase ha coinciso anche con la pandemia, periodo che ha gettato gli artisti in un profondo sconforto per la mancanza di prospettive e per la generale situazione di precarietà lavorativa ed economica.
David però non si arrende e lotta con tenacia giorno per giorno per affrontare dolori tali da impedirgli totalmente l’uso delle mani. Il recupero sembra impossibile, ma David dimostra fin da subito grande impegno e forza di volontà perché non può immaginare per sé una vita senza musica.
Ora è pronto a spiccare il volo e l’Unione Musicale vuole accompagnarlo concretamente a realizzare il suo sogno.

Che cosa faremo con la tua donazione
Grazie alle donazioni potremo aiutare David nelle sue necessità pratiche relative al percorso di studi e all’avvio della carriera: dall’acquisto di partiture e di un abito da concerto all’affitto di un buon pianoforte per lo studio giornaliero, dalla retta per frequentare masterclass a consulenze per la gestione di un sito web e dei canali social, strumenti oggi indispensabili alla promozione di un artista.

Donate for David, pianist in "crescendo"

Unione musicale is always alongside young musicians, numerously and regularly present in its concert seasons.
For our first fundraising we decided to do more, choosing to support the young pianist David Irimescu, artist of exceptional talent whose career some years ago underwent an abrupt stop due to a difficult personal history.
Born in Turin 24 years ago from Romanian parents, David meets the piano at the age of nine and falls in love with this instrument, that helps him express his inner world through music. Still in his adolescenthood, David faces a period of dejection, loosing his father and finding himself under critical economic situations. With huge efforts he keeps on with the studies at the Musical High School that completes with top marks. In the same period an important occasion opens up: David wins Amadeus Factory 2018 talent and, at the age of 19, becomes the new Face of classical music.

When his career seems to take off, suddenly he's hit by a new drama: a severe systemic tendons inflammation blocks him completely for more than four years, a long time for anyone, but infinite for a musician just taking off. This phase coincided also with the pandemic, a period that threw artists in anguish for the lack of perspectives and for the general situation of economical and work precariousness. Nonetheless David doesn't give up and fights day by day to face pains of such power to impede completely the use of the hands.
The recovery seems impossible, but David demonstrates from start an incredible effort and willpower, because he is not able to imagine for himself a life without music.
Now he's ready to return and fly, and Unione Musicale wants to accompany him concretely through the realization of his dream.

What we will do with your donation
Thanks to the donations we will be able to provide David support for the practical needs concerning his study and career: fom the purchase of music sheets and concert suit to the rental of a quality piano for his day-to-day study, from fees to attend masterclasses to supervision for website and media management, which nowadays are fundamental means to the promotion of an artist ......
